David Lisboa
Dreaming, whistling and creating melodies have always been my natural way of expressing my feelings and thoughts. Sharing a positive message through lyrics and melodies is my goal in music. My name is David, I’m a singer-songwriter born in Lisbon and I have two discographic works: “Tempo para Sonhar” produced by Hugo Edgar who plays the portuguese guitar amazingly and more recently, “Super-Heróis” produced by Jonny Abbey, a skilled acoustic & electric guitar player.
In my new album, you’ll find 5 tracks in Portuguese and another 5 in English: cheerful and rhythmic songs with simple and inspiring messages about peace, human values and inner strength. Catchy songs, I promise you! ;)
At my concerts, I am accompanied by incredible professional musicians with national and international experience on guitars, bass and percussion.
Paulo Rosa: Guitarist who has performed with various bands and orchestras in major venues across Portugal such as Altice Arena with Marco Paulo, Circo do Coliseu dos Recreios for Filipe La Féria and Gypsy music festivals. He has also performed internationally in Spain, Belgium, Cape Verde and Angola. Additionally, he is a music teacher at several Portuguese schools.
Nuno Allan: Bassist and double bassist with numerous performances alongside renowned national artists such as Simone de Oliveira, Paulo de Carvalho, André Sardet and Rita Guerra. He has been part of major musical orchestras including collaborations with John Owen-Jones (considered by many critics to be the best performer in his field worldwide). He has extensive experience in television (participating in musical programs on SIC and RTP1), theater and jazz.
Vítor Costa: Percussionist in various bands; has played in television recording orchestras for prominent national artists such as Sérgio Godinho, José Cid, Simone de Oliveira and Herman José, among others. He has contributed to multiple album recordings, music-theater performances and film soundtracks. He has also been invited to perform as a musician on cruise ships and has played internationally in France, Macau, India, Cape Verde, the Canary Islands, Morocco, and Senegal.
