Dear friends,

We are all going through very difficult, very dramatic times.

We, Pussy Riot, were forced to cancel all planned performances of our two projects – a show lead by Nadya Tolokonnikova and Riot Days music/theatre show based on the book of Maria (Masha) Alyokhina. We are so sorry that we cannot see you and share our art with you.

But now it’s time to present you a video version of our show made by German documentary filmmakers.

This is our full Riot Days show live in Muffathalle, Munich, January 20, 2018. This is our first lineup of Riot Days – Masha Alyokhina, Nastya AWOTT (a founding member of Pussy Riot, singer and bass player of initial band 2011-2014), Max AWOTT, and Kiryl Masheka.

Riot Days is our protest manifesto, and Masha’s story of Pussy Riot – from the first action in the Red Square to the last day in prison where Masha spent 2 years.
There are several early Pussy Riot songs in this show, as well as music specially composed by Nastya and Max. An important part of the show is “insider” video footage made by Vasily Bogatov: most Pussy Riot actions, court, street protests, etc.
The show is subtitled in English.

Riot Days was called “Primal revolutionary new electronic punk opera” (Sydney Herald) and got several international music and theatre awards, including Herald Angel and Total Theatre Award of Edinburgh Festivals.

You can watch the film for free. But we would be very grateful for any donation. Riot Days project is the only source for us to make a living. Moreover – each tour gave us an opportunity to use a substantial part of our earnings to support political prisoners in Russia. We hope to continue to do this – with your help.
